ENGLISH HERITAGE

A vast percentage of buildings in the capital, large cities and rural areas are either located in a conservation area or listed by English Heritage. To make any alterations to such buildings, permissions are needed from either the local authority or English Heritage or in some cases both. There are three different grades of listed building. Grade I for for building of the highest significance, Grade II* and Grade II. The listing can cover the whole building or just parts of it. At Lausten Lehrmann we can obtain these permissions for you.
